Itinerary in detail:
Day 1: Welcome to Shiraz
Morning sightseeing of this floral city includes Karim Khan Citadel, Pars Museum, Vakil Mosque, Vakil public bath, and Vakil bazaar. In the evening you will visit Saadi and Hafez tombs. It is here that you can experience spiritual tranquility in Persian Gardens.
Day 2: Shiraz-Isfahan
This morning you can gain an insight into ancient History of Iran. We head to Persepolis, Naghshe Rostam, and Pasargad (Cyrus tomb) where you can discover wonders of Persia belonging to about 2500 years ago. In the evening we continue our drive to Isfahan for about five hours.
Day 3: Isfahan
See the exquisite architecture of Safavid dynasty in Naghshe Jahan Square one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Admire Ali Qapu Palace, Lotfollah Mosque, Imam Mosque, and the traditional bazaar. If you haven’t bought your souvenirs yet, it’s the time to find the elegant handicrafts. Later we visit Vank Cathedral and Chehel sotun Palace. To make the most of your time go for a stroll along the Zayanderud and visit Sio-se-pol and Khaju bridges at night.
Day 4: Kashan-Tehran
After a 3-hour drive from Isfahan, you can explore Tepe Sialk, Fin Garden, and Borujerdiha house in the spectacular city of Kashan. Early in the evening we travel further to Tehran, the capital of Iran. Tehran is about 260 kilometers away from Kashan. We stay overnight in Tehran.
Day 5: Tehran
Tehran, the largest city of Iran, is crammed with worthy museums so we visit Saadabad Palace and Contemporary Art Museum.In the evening spend time relaxing or take a leisurely stroll and get a feel for this vibrant fascinating cosmopolitan city.
