Iran islamic civilization tour
An Islamic civilization tour besides visiting Islamic constructions of Iran. A 7 days tour to Iran in order to see the best samples of Iranian Islamic architectures in the middle East. A chance to visit the first mosque in Iran and the mosque of Amir Chakhmagh in Yazd. You can also visit Naghsh e Jahan Square in Isfahan. This square along with other attractions like Khaju Bridge, Imam Mosque, and Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque are registered in UNESCO. In such a tour, we will visit famous great museums in Tehran in order to get accustomed with Islamic Art in Iran which is implied in places like Golestan Castle museum, and Reza Abbasi Museum. Visiting the religious city of Qom is another plan attached to this tour. At the end of this tour we will go to Shiraz and see the ancient city of Persepolis. Constructions from Karim Khan Era like Vakil Mosque and Karim Khan Citadel are other places visiting which will show you the beauty of civilization and Islamic art of Iran.

Itinerary in detail:
Day 1: Welcome to Tehran!
In the morning our tour starts by visiting Golestan Palace, one of the oldest monuments in the capital of Iran. We go over some museums in this complex where Qajar royal families used to reside. In the evening we visit Reza Abbasi museum which consists of a part specialized on Islamic art.
Day 2: Qom- Kashan
Departing Tehran early in the morning, we make our way to the holy city of Qom. We have a city tour to see the attractions of the largest education and research center for Shi’a in the world. We also visit the shrine of Fatemeh Masoumeh, sister of Imam Reza, where you will be overwhelmed by the intricate mirror-work. Next stop is Kashan which is about 115 km southeast of Qom. Early in the evening, after a short rest at the hotel we enjoy the fine symmetrical design at Agha Bozorg Mosque and elegant traditional Tabatabaei House.
Day 3: Isfahan
Departing Kashan in the morning, we arrive in Isfahan after a 3-hour drive. Upon arrival we explore Jameh Mosque of Isfahan, one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites to see the evolution of mosque architecture in about 12 centuries. Evening is the time to visit Chehel Sotun Palace which is a pavilion in the center of a garden built by Shah Abbas II. Later there is the opportunity to take a pleasant walk along the Zayanderud and see fascinating Siosepol and Khaju bridges at night.
Day 4: Isfahan
See the exquisite architecture of Safavid dynasty in Naghshe Jahan Square one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Admire Ali Qapu Palace, Lotfollah Mosque, Imam Mosque, and the traditional bazaar. In the evening we finish our Isfahan tour by visiting Hasht Behesht Garden meaning eight paradises. Stay overnight in Isfahan.
Day 5: Yazd
We depart Isfahan in the morning and discover Fahraj Mosque en route to Yazd. Fahraj is the first mosque built in Iran with an adobe structure. After that we drive to Yazd and will get there for lunch. In the evening we explore one of the great attractions of Yazd: Zoroastrian Fire temple whose fire has been burning for years. Amir Chakhmaq Complex is the next place to visit. This complex has a great view at night. In addition, for a bird’s-eye view you can go to the top to see this adobe city. By the way indulge yourself in some authentic traditional pastries and sweets in Yazd.
Day 6: Shiraz
Fly to Shiraz in the morning. Then we have the tour of this enchanting city which includes Karim Khan Citadel, Pars Museum, Vakil Mosque, Vakil public bath, Vakil bazaar and Nasir ol Molk Mosque. You can find elegant handicrafts and seek out a bargain in Vakil bazaar. In the evening admire Shah Cheragh, the most important place of pilgrimage in Shiraz, Atiq Jameh mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Iran, and Hafez tomb where the finest examples of literature, architecture, and Persian garden are combined.
Day 7: Shiraz
This morning is the time to have a flashback to ancient Persian history by visiting Persepolis and Naghshe Rostam. After a one-hour drive from Shiraz we get to the must-sees of Iran. Persepolis depicts the glory of Iran 2500 years ago. Evening offers free time for you to explore the beauties of Shiraz. You can visit Jahan Nama garden or Eram garden to soak up the relaxed vibe in the city before say in ‘Khodahafez’ to wonderful Iran.
